Suzuki’s 2016 V-Strom 650XT Now Available in Australia.
Suzuki’s keenly anticipated new 2016 Suzuki V-Strom 650XT Cross-Touring machines are now available in Australia.
The V-Strom 650 has been a top selling model in the adventure-touring segment since its introduction in 2004, and last year Suzuki responded to increasing customer demand for more off-road capable and styled adventure touring machines with the two XT variants.
Both variants are powered by Suzuki’s famous 645 cc 90-degree V-twin DOHC engine.
The full powered version produces 51kW, and while still using the same engine, the learner-approved version’s output is restricted to 35kW to meet the Learner Approved Motorcycle Scheme (LAMS) requirements.
For 2016 the V-Strom 650XT models have striking new livery and retain the lightweight DID spoked aluminium wheel rims.
The V-Strom 650XT Learner Approved bike is available now in Candy Red for a recommended ride away price of $12,490.
The full-powered V-Strom 650XT is available in three colour schemes – Metallic Matte Grey, Candy Red and Metallic Silver for a recommended ride away price of $12,990.
The Australian spec full-powered V-Strom 650XT also comes with Genuine Suzuki accessory hand-guards, engine under cowling and engine protection bars.
Both models are backed by Suzuki’s two-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty.
