MotoGP: Another Top 10 Finish For Jack Miller In Argentina

Aussie Jack Miller now sits 7th in the MotoGP championship after finishing 9th in Argentina.

Australian Jack Miller has stayed out of trouble and claimed 9th place in an action packed second round of the MotoGP championship.

Jack’s 9th place earns him another 7 points, and he now holds 7th position in the championship ahead of current MotoGP champion Marc Marquez and other top riders including Jorge Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa.

Maverick Vinales’ has had a perfect start to the season, taking his second win ahead of Yamaha teammate Valentino Rossi and LCR Honda rider Cal Crutchlow.

Jorge Lorenzo’s horror run with Ducati continued after getting caught up in a first lap incident and crashing out of the race, while a crash on lap 15 between Andrea Dovizioso and Aleix Espargaro ended the day for the factory Ducati team.

The factory Repsol Honda team had an equally shocking race. Marc Marquez lost the front and crashed while leading on lap 4, and Dani Pedrosa crashed out in copycat style 10 laps later.

Jack Miller said he was confident going into the Argentinian round.

“We’ve been getting better and better each time we get out on the bike and I’m confident we can continue that trend at the next two races in Argentina and Austin, two tracks I enjoy racing at a lot.”

The next round is the Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas in Austin, Texas on the 23rd April.
