Independent candidate for Mudgeeraba, Bill Sherwood, has praised the SMART Rider program on his political Facebook page.
Bill has been riding motorcycles for a fair few years and says he participated in the course last weekend because “there’s always room for improvement”.
Independent candidate for Gold Coast Division 9 Bill Sherwood“I’m a big advocate of road safety and motorbike riders are over-represented in the crash, death, and injury stats. This course is one way to reduce that so I’m more than happy to plug it.”
Bill makes it very clear in his post that he didn’t expect, or receive, any special price or attention on the course, so he experienced the course as any other participant would.
“I highly recommend for riders of all experience levels to do the course as it’ll help keep you that much safer,” Bill added.
