Adrien Van Beveren’s high speed crash just 3km from the end of Stage 10 ended his rally for 2018.
The Yamaha Factory Team rider went in to the 10th Stage with a 22 second lead over Kevin Benavides and was in a strong position when the crash occurred.
He has broken his right collar bone and also injured his thorax and spine in the crash. He was unable to complete the remaining 3 km of the special and was been evacuated by helicopter.
