Harley-Davidson has recalled the 2014 – 2016 Dyna Low Rider over an issue with the ignition switch.
The recall notice released through the ACCC states that the ignition switch may suffer internal damage due to engine induced vibration, and a failure in the ignition switch could cause the engine to unexpectedly shut off during use, posing an accident hazard.
Model year 2014.5 – 2016 Dyna Low Riders sold throughout Australia are affected.
Recalls from Harley-Davidson have been rare over the last year or so, the last recall was in August 2015.
Owners of affected bikes will be contacted directly by Harley-Davidson with instructions of how to have the ignition switch repaired.
