Honda Delivers First RC213V-S

Lucky first owner of Honda RC213V-S takes delivery.

Honda Delivers First RC213V-S – a very happy John Brown takes delivery of the historic bike.

In a quiet handover at Honda’s UK racing headquarters just before Christmas, Honda Motorcycles delivered the very first of its RC213V-S motorcycles.

The Honda RC213V-S is a machine closer in concept, specification and riding feel to a MotoGP racer than any previous road legal motorcycle.

It also comes with an equally impressive price tag – around 188,000 Euro or $244,000 in Australia.

The first worldwide customer and lucky recipient of the bike is John Brown, who owns and runs a Honda motorcycle dealership in Manchester, UK.

John is also an avid collector of Honda machines, and his extensive collection already includes a brand new RC30, VTR1000 SP1 and SP2, CBR900RR Fireblade and VF1000F.

Tetsuo Suzuki, Operating Officer of Honda Motorcycles commented, “To see the world’s first RC213V-S presented to a customer today is fantastic, especially to someone like John who is so passionate about Honda.”

The RC213V-S has been three years in development and is the closest a customer can come to owning and riding the RC213V MotoGP machine that won consecutive MotoGP World Championships in 2013 and 2014 in the hands of Marc Marquez.

Each machine is hand-built in a specialist area of Honda’s Kumamoto factory, and further machines will be presented to customers worldwide from the New Year.
