Two models of dual purpose Husqvarna motorcycles have been recalled over an issue with the engine stalling unexpectedly.
The Husqvarna TR650 Terra uses the same engine as the BMW G650GS
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) is overseeing the withdrawal of the Husqvarna TR 650 Terra and the TR 650 Strada MY13 and MY14.
Engines are reported to have the potential to stall occasionally which could lead to dangerous riding conditions and pose a safety hazard.
Owners of affected models will be contacted via letter with instructions to take their vehicle to an authorised dealer to rectify the issue.
