KTM Motorcycle Recall Notice

KTM Duke 390 MY2017
Owners of a 2017 KTM 390 Duke are being reminded that their bikes have been recalled, and to watch out for a notice on the mail.

We’re taking this opportunity to remind owners of a KTM 390 Duke that the ACCC has issued a recall on all 2017 models due to an software fault.

An issue with the head light control unit or HLU may cause the LED headlight to reboot while riding.

The instrument display may also lose information or switch off the display altogether during operation.

This unpredictable fault may cause the light to turn on and off without warning leading to dangerous riding situations.

All owners of the KTM 390 Duke purchased this year will be contacted by the company via mail.

Bikes should be taken to an authorised KTM dealer for an inspection and a software update.
