Andreas Lundgren new head of BMW Motorrad in Australia.
There’s been some changes in senior management at BMW in Australia with the German group with the current BMW Motorrad boss, Tony Sesto, moving over to the run the MINI car brand.
Sesto, who has helped steer BMW Motorrad to a strong Australian resurgence over the past five years, including a 68% increase in sales, will be replaced by Andreas Lundgren as head of the BMW motorcycle brand.
Lundgren, a passionate motorcyclist, is currently the Australian BMW automobiles national sales operations manager.
Commenting on Lundgren taking over as General Manager of BMW Motorrad, BMW Group Australia CEO, Marc Werner, said the new BMW Motorrad boss brings many years of experience at BMW Australia across various functions in Sales and Financial Services at both wholesale and retail levels.
