Suzuki has updated its classically retro styled TU250X for 2017, giving it a new dark metallic grey and gloss black colour scheme.
The small-bore café racer is perfect for riders looking for a retro styled, user-friendly motorcycle that is still packed with high-quality features at a great price.
Its low seat height of just 770mm, compact chassis and upright riding position make it a perfect choice for a variety of riders, but especially for learner or newer riders.
The bike is powered by a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air and oil cooled engine with a capacity of 249cc that produces strong torque low down in the rev range, and that makes it an easy to ride bike around the city.
The bike only has a 12 litre fuel tank but the combination of fuel injection and the fuel-efficient engine provide excellent fuel economy and riding range.
Brakes are a single disk with Tokico twin-piston caliper up front and a drum system on the rear that fit in well with the retro-styling of the little TU250X, and are more than ample given the bike’s light weight.
Chromed front and rear wheels, headlight case, speedometer cover, tail light housing and exhaust system complete the retro image.
The 2017 Suzuki TU250X is available now for a recommended ride-away price of $6,990 ($5,990 + ORC) and is backed by Suzuki’s two-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty.
