Suzuki GSX-R1000R
Suzuki is releasing race replica models of the GSX-R1000 and GSX-R1000R

Now you can have your very own superbike in your garage; or at the very least, look the part.

It’s many a rider’s dream to ride like their heroes in the MotoGP, so Suzuki is releasing a new replica GSX-R1000R and GSX-R1000.

Out in the UK in March, the replicas will sport the paint scheme of the track worthy GSX-RR in iconic brilliant blue and black details in place of the regular yellow.

The production GSX-R1000 will also possess similar ride attributes to the racer such as VVT technology, for low-down torque and midrange, without jeopardising power plus a finger-follower valve train and stacked intake funnels.

While the GSX-R1000R comes with a 10-stage, lean angle-sensitive traction control system, launch control, cornering ABS and a bi-directional quickshifter and auto-blipper.

They’ll be priced from £13,599 (AUD$23,950) and £16,099 (AUD$28,350) for the GSX-R1000R.

The Suzuki GSX-RR will be ridden by Andrea Iannone and Alex Rins for Team SUZUKI ECSTAR in the 2018 season which starts in March.

At this stage there is no confirmation of an Australian release.
