Once a year the motorcycle pilgrims head to the Sunshine Coast hinterland for one of the greatest events of the year – the Obi Obi Motorcycle Show.

It’s on again next Sunday the 10th September, 2017 and our good friends at Throw Your Leg Over have chosen the show to launch their highly anticipated book – The South East Queensland & Northern New South Wales Ultimate Travel Guide.

The book has been a labour of love for authors Bridget Hallam and Alan Cox, and its 250 pages cover 21 great rides in SE Queensland and northern NSW, has links to maps you can download instantly on your smart phone and lists over 800 places to stay on your trips.

And it’s all in a handy A5 size that will fit easily on your bike.

The Obi Obi Motorcycle Show is held at the Obi Obi Hall, 856 Obi Obi Rd, Obi Obi (that’s a lot of Obi Obi’s 🙂 ) on the Queensland Sunshine Coast.

The show starts at 9am and runs through to 4pm.

Apart from the trade stands (be sure to track down Alan and Bridget), live music and entertainment and multitude of food stalls there’s the Show and Shine competitions.
