Updated Honda CBR300R arrives

New Honda CBR300R range in Honda dealerships this month.

Honda has announced the 2016 CBR300R and CBR300RA (ABS) is set to arrive in dealerships at the end of November.

Honda tell us the 2016 Honda CBR300R redefines all the rules for LAMS approved motorcycles, and follows on from a long line of superb Honda Sportsbikes.

The bike is aimed squarely at learners and less experienced riders, with Honda saying it offers the excitement of larger models, with more than enough power and practicality for its class.

Powered by a liquid-cooled single-cylinder 286cc engin, coupled to a six-speed gearbox, the LAMS-approved Honda CBR300R is said to be as comfortable through city streets as it is cruising on the highway.

Styling is taken straight from Honda’s Supersports motorcycles, so the baby of the family looks the part. An aggressive full fairing and steeply-raked rear seat add to the sleek lines.

The 2016 CBR300RA is also fitted with a lightweight Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS).

With its compact size, powerful 300-class engine, nimble handling, and sporty silhouette, the 2016 CBR300R and CBR300RA looks to provide the perfect entry point into Honda’s famed Supersport CBR range.
